You Can Help Build Hope
Covenant Church is again partnering with Lima UMC to Help Build Hope on September 20th and 21st.
We could use your help!
- What: We’re constructing all of the walls for a new four-bedroom house being built by Habitat for Humanity in Franklin County.
- Who: Everybody (age 5 and older) – you, your kids, your parents, your coworkers, your class, your group, your team – everybody!
- When:
- Friday, September 20th (4pm): Adult volunteers for cutting wood and team leader training.
- Saturday, September 21st (8am-1pm): Helpers needed to assemble walls, coordinate volunteers, and prepare meals. All skill levels welcome.
- Where: Lima’s campus at 209 Middletown Road in Media
- Why: To lend a hand in a quick and worthy project to help a family in Pennsylvania realize affordable home ownership. And it’s a lot of fun!
What can you do?
- Set aside three or four hours on Saturday.
- Reach out to your friends and family.
- Register to Help Build Hope 2024 online or email hbh@covumc.com.
- Show up!
By lunchtime on Saturday, you will have helped build all of the walls for a new home!
