Petals, Pedals & Pancakes 2025 (Updated 4/19)

The Covenant Appalachia Service Project Team is getting ready for our summer mission trip to Central Appalachia. We’ve grown our annual plant sale into a bigger event: ASP Petals, Pedals & Pancakes – with all kinds of ways to support the ASP team.

Mark you calendar. We’ll start things at 8 am on Saturday, May 3, 2025. Stop by anytime until noon. Here’s what we’re planning:

Pancakes: Breakfast @ 8:00 – 11:00
We’re serving up hot-off-the-griddle pancakes along with some other breakfast sides. We just ask for a donation to the team.

Petals: Plant Sale @ 9:00 – noon
It’s our annual plant sale! All kinds of flowers, hanging baskets, vegetables, and herbs to choose from. You can place an order early in our online market and pick it up on Saturday 5/3 between 9am to noon. Or, use an order form and drop it off at the church. Please place your order by April 27th. Missed the deadline? No worries! On May 3rd you’ll be able to choose from a selection of petal producing products picked for purchase on the day of the event. You can beautify your home in Pennsylvania, while helping to make the home of a family in Central Appalachia warmer, safer, and drier.

Pedals: Bike Checks @ 9:00 – 11:00
It’s getting warm out there, great weather for bike rides. Are your pedals ready to hit the road? No? Bring it to the church between 9:00 and 11:00 am. A member of the Cycle Sport Media team will give your bike a safety check and quick tune-up before you take it out for a spin.

Projects: Project @ 8:00 – noon
Get crafty, bring out your creative side. This project will be kid friendly.

Prizes: Silent Auction Baskets @ 8:00 – 11:45 (prizes awarded at noon)
We have 25+ amazing baskets/ experiences for you to bid on and you’ll be able to find them (and share them with friends) at our online auction. You’ll still be able to see all the items in person at Petals, Pedals and Pancakes, but all the bidding will be done through phones/computers. We’ll help you out with the process!

If you would like to preregister for the event, you can fill out the preregistration form. You can also register for an account on your first bid. If you need help with registration, contact Deacon Diana or we plan to offer account registration help on the afternoon of Sunday, April 27 following worship.

Thank you to our amazing donors! Baskets will be including items from the companies below.
