It’s Funny Now
Comedy All-Star Rik Roberts Is Coming to Springfield!
OPENING ACT ADDED: ACTOR/COMEDIAN GINA D’ACCIARO!
Nashville-based comedian Rik Roberts is bringing his family-friendly stand-up comedy act to Covenant on Saturday, September 16. Doors open at 7pm, with the opening act taking the stage at 7:30.
Performing solo, and as a part of Midwest Comedy Tool & Die, Rik has toured the country, bringing the laughs to comedy fans of all ages. His comedy special “Put Down the Sweet Tea” can be found on the Dry Bar Comedy channel (drybarcomedy.com), and he has been featured on “Comedy All-Stars” (Pure Flix), “Chonda Pierce’s Stand Up For Families” (Dove Channel), “The Henry Cho Comedy Show” (Great American Country) and “L.O.L. Comedy” (Syndicated), among others.
As a married man, and father of two young kids, Rik has found there are enough real life situations that we can all laugh at without going “below the belt”. Family friendly comedy is his specialty. In addition to his stand-up work, Rik recently appeared in the “Mayberry Man” movie, and has been filming episodes for its TV follow-up. Learn more about Rik at his website, rikroberts.com or find more of his material on his YouTube channel.
And, we are excited to announce that actor/comedian Gina D’Acciaro is joining the fun as our opening act for the evening. A graduate of Spring-Ford High School in Montgomery County, Gina was most recently seen in “The Noel Diary.” She will be sharing stories from her “famous-adjacent” life in Hollywood.
It’s a real treat to have Rik come to the Philadelphia area, so don’t miss this chance to see him – and make sure to invite your friends! Proceeds from the concert support the mission and ministries of Covenant Church.
Tickets are $20 each, $15 for children 12 and under. They can be purchased online, and will be available in Wesley Hall after church starting August 6. Arrangements can also be made through the church office.
