For John Wesley, the founder of Methodism, there was no such thing as solitary "religion" and Covenant Church strives to live that out. We gather together in worship and in Christian learning so that we can help one another grow in the love of God and others.
We strive to offer opportunities for growth to people of all ages.
Covenant Nursery School
Our school is a Christian Nursery School, a ministry of Covenant United Methodist Church. We welcome children of all faiths and encourage a sharing of different beliefs. Through our daily interactions with the children we strive to exemplify the Christian virtues of kindness, acceptance, and love towards one another.
Sunday School
We are very excited about all the opportunities we have to worship, learn, and serve at Covenant; and we want you and your young people to be a part of it. We know everyone is a one-of-a-kind child of God, and we all need to experience God's love in different ways. Come and join us as we celebrate our uniqueness together.
Sunday School is held each Sunday from 9:15 to 10:15 am.
Vacation Bible School
VBS provides an opportunity to teach children about Jesus so that they can learn ways to be like Christ. “Jesus matured in wisdom and years, and in favor with God and with people” (Luke 2:52). Children grow in wisdom as they experience teachings from the Bible; they grow in divine favor as they discover more about God and God’s amazing love for them.
VBS is held each summer. Check back later for more info.
The true aim of everyone who aspires to be a teacher should be,
not to impart his own opinions, but to kindle minds.
Adult Sunday School
Christian education is essential for believers - no matter what age - to grow in knowledge and love of God. The Adult Education program provides opportunities for adults to deepen their Christian faith by learning who you are and whose you are. Please come, learn, and grow!
Sunday School is held each Sunday from 9:15 to 10:15 am.
Small Groups
For introverts and extroverts and everyone in between, the place where personal growth occurs is in small groups, where you can develop trusting relationships that allow you to be open and vulnerable. These small groups might be centered around Bible study, or book discussions, or other common interests or hobbies. In all these, we make the Holy Spirit a partner in the conversation so we might grow together.
