It’s the Great Covenant Pumpkin Patch
This year, visit the Great Covenant Pumpkin Patch to pick your pumpkins.
While picking pumpkins and other autumn accents you’ll want for a festive fall and happy Halloween, you can support some of our mission projects …
- Our Appalachia Service Project team
- the Shorter AME Church food pantry
- and Fostering Hope Delaware County
… and change someone’s life.
Pop by to peruse the pumpkin patch. You’ll find plenty of pumpkin-themed fun and festive fall favorites like:
- All kinds of varieties of pumpkins and gourds
- Games
- Crafts
- Pumpkin decorating
- Hot apple cider
- Fall favorite baked goods
- Face painting (select times)
- Story telling (select times)
While in the patch, have fun with some gourdish games like pumpkin ring toss, tic-tac-toe, get Gourdon (Waldo’s long lost cousin), pumpkin bowling and ring swing games.
And, you’ll find some picturesque places in the patch to take some personal pumpkin patch pics (aka seasonal selfies).
The pumpkin patch will be open from October 11th through 19th. Hours are from noon to 7:00 pm on weekends and from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on weekdays.
You’ll find the pumpkin patch in the open area next to the Covenant church driveway on Saxer Avenue (near the intersection with Springfield Road). Please park in the parking lot and walk around to Saxer Avenue to the entrance.
All proceeds will go to the Appalachia Service Project team’s summer mission trip, the Shorter AME Church food pantry, and providing pumpkins to Fostering Hope families.
Thank you!
