Our local food banks do a good job of knowing their customers and their needs. They keep the pulse of what they’ve got coming in and they know what’s needed to fill the gap. Here are the latest lists of urgently needed items from the food banks we support. If you are going to pick up some items to donate during the Souper Bowl of Caring food drive, please consider some of these.
Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry
- Canned Protein – Chicken, Tuna, Salmon, Spam
- Canned Fruit (in juice preferred)
- Canned Tomato Products (Diced, Crushed, Tomato Paste, Pasta Sauce)
- Jelly (strawberry or grape)
- Boxed Side Dishes
- Dry/Canned Beans
- Crackers
- Boxed Cereal
- Oatmeal
Shorter AME Food Bank
- Tuna Fish
- Pasta
- Spaghetti Sauce
- Canned Corn
- Beans
- Boxed Cereal
- Oatmeal
- Sugar
- Flour
- Cooking Oil
- Paper Towels
- Toilet Paper
- Paper Plates
- Dish Detergent

Donations can be left in the entrance to Wesley Hall at any time starting Saturday, January 21st.
